Your Local Garage

The problem

A mobile mechanic has no shopfront, which means the local-pack advantage a workshop gets for free simply isn't available. Jens drives to Otumoetai, Bethlehem, Papamoa and Mount Maunganui — but a single "Tauranga" page gives Google no reason to show him to someone searching from any one of them.

Our approach

We built the service area as real pages rather than a list in the footer: four suburb pages for the places he actually covers, plus dedicated pages for the jobs that get searched by name — mobile car servicing, brake repairs, pre-purchase inspections and hybrid servicing. The homepage leads with "we come to you", because that is the entire proposition and it was previously three scrolls down.
