THE PROBLEM

A wholesale supplier has a completely different buyer to a retail store. Resellers and repair shops arrive knowing exactly which part they need, buy in volume, and come back weekly — so the job of the storefront is not persuasion, it is letting someone find one specific SKU among thousands without losing patience. Coming off a platform that was never built for a catalogue this shape, that was the whole problem.

OUR APPROACH

We built the navigation for the size of the catalogue rather than the size of the homepage: 2,226 products — several thousand SKUs once variations are counted — across 215 categories and ten top-level departments, with a shop archive carrying a filter sidebar, search within a category, sort, grid and list views, and a proper mobile drawer for buyers ordering off a phone on a workshop floor. A brand taxonomy was mapped across the catalogue so a reseller can filter to the brands they actually stock — Baseus, HOCO, Nillkin, Remax, USAMS — and the same mapping feeds the Google Merchant Centre product feed. Behind the counter, a stock manager built into the WordPress admin lets the team maintain levels where they already work.
