THE PROBLEM

Chimney sweeping is bought on trust and sold on risk, and neither was on the page. Twenty years of NZHHA-certified work in Whangārei, insurance-approved cleans, and no website that explained why creosote build-up is the thing that actually matters.

OUR APPROACH

We led with the reason. Every fire leaves creosote — a flammable tar — in the flue; left to build up it is the leading cause of chimney fires and can push carbon monoxide back into the room. That is stated plainly at the top, then the work follows: full sweeps, safety audits, roof and flashing inspection, wood and log burner cleaning, repairs. NZHHA certification and the insurance-approved status are named, because in a trade where anyone can buy a brush, the credential is the product.
